Camp History

Our Story

1977

Teens were invited to summer camps (Cheerleading Clinic and Yearbook Clinic) on the campus of Pensacola Christian College.

1978–1999

Camp offerings continued to expand and adjust, including adding options still popular today like basketball camp and music academy.

2000

The camps became collectively known as YOM Summer Camps, with 880 campers attending twelve specialized camps.

2022

YOM Summer Camps was officially renamed to NEXT Summer Camps.

Today

9th–12th graders can attend one of thirteen unique camps to explore their interests and deepen their walk with God. Campers stay in state-of-the-art residence halls and enjoy recreational facilities like the 216,000-square-foot Sports Center. Over the past nearly 50 years, PCC has hosted over 450 separate weeks of teen summer camp with over 30,000 participants!
