Drama Camp

Drama Camp focuses on teaching the basics of performance. You’ll gain practical, hands-on experience in areas such as acting, costuming and makeup, and scenic design. You’ll see firsthand what goes on behind the scene, and what it takes to bring a production together.

During the course of camp, experienced college speech faculty will give group and individual instruction, as preparations are made for a production (in the Experimental Theater) and a Gala Concert in coordination with the Music Academy. Auditions will be held on the first day of camp. You’ll need to bring a 1-2 minute memorized reading from literature (poem, story, or essay).
