Varsity and Junior Varsity Squads
(minimum age 11/grade 6)
To keep players and fans motivated, cheerleaders also need opportunities to get motivated and inspired. Cheerleading Camp through Youth Outreach Ministry provides the fun activities, challenging instruction, and positive motivation you need to be a more effective cheerleader with your squad.
Packed full of instruction and practice, this Christian cheerleading camp helps new and experienced squads develop skills and Christian-leadership qualities—all in a fun, fast-paced environment. Pensacola Christian College Eagles cheerleading staff lead daily training that focuses on perfecting stunts, learning new cheers, and developing squad unity.
Each squad will benefit from a customized performance evaluation and instructional camp video to provide constructive feedback for improvement. Each squad leader will receive a complimentary packet of stunts, sidelines, cheers, exercise routines, and more.
On the final day of camp, each squad is invited to compete with one floor cheer learned during camp, one floor cheer from squad’s repertoire, and one stunt. Cheers should include a variety of techniques. The competition includes Varsity and JV awards for leadership and technique, most improved squad, and most spirited squad. Varsity and JV All-Spirit Squads will also be selected.
You’ll get to know other campers throughout the week, especially during recreation times using the Sports Center, Swim Center, and more. Daily chapel provides opportunities for spiritual growth.
