Improve your skills and learn new techniques through exciting drills and competitions!
Open to both teams and individuals.
Gaining a leading edge on the basketball court requires continual improvement of skills. Youth Outreach Ministry Girls Basketball Camp provides thorough training in an uplifting Christian environment to help you reach your potential.
Led by the Pensacola Christian College Lady Eagles coaching staff, this basketball camp emphasizes personal skill development and Christian sportsmanship to apply now and throughout your future basketball endeavors. Daily exercises and training include offense/defense skill building, ball handling, shooting, and rebounding, with skills put to the test in daily scrimmage games.
Grades 9–12 (including Class of 2018 graduates)
Registration closes Wednesday, June 27, at 8 a.m.
Various competitions will challenge you as you strive for a spot on the camp All-Star teams. Awards are presented to competition winners, as well as to the best offensive player, best defensive player, and Hustle Award winner. All participants receive a certificate.
Girls Basketball Camp is held in the Pensacola Christian College Field House, which has three regulation-size courts.
However you spend your free time, you’ll be spending it with your newfound friends. You can explore the Sports Center—climb the rock wall, bowl with friends, cool off in the ice skating rink, or make a splash at the water park. You can grab a smoothie at the Common Grounds Café and just hang out. Each day, chapel will be a time to come together and grow spiritually.
For every six campers that a school sends to our sports camps, one coach from that school may attend the camp for only the $55 Registration Fee and will stay with the campers (additional coaches pay coach fee). A coach must accompany each team attending Basketball Camp.
